I had a great chance to see my favorite singer live in Poland. When I first found this news in March I promptly ordered a ticket. I was impatiently awaiting the day, but it was so worth it.
Duffy has an awesome voice. She proves in every way that it’s not a magic of a studio you can hear in her songs. The way she sings her well-known tracks keeps adding a new breath to them. It’s amazing what she can do vocally. I dare to say she’s even better live than on CD!
Except for Duffy, I was able to watch such bands as The Gossip, The Kooks and Moby. I must admit I spent money reasonably. I missed having such a great fun for a long time!

I love Duffy’s music as well! So cool that you saw her perform live. Must’ve been a great experience :) I hope you’ll enjoy your summer holiday and congrats on passing all your exams!

Looks and sounds like you had a great time at the concert! You must have been really close to get such great photos too! I must admit I don’t know very many of Duffy’s songs, but I do love “Mercy” (even my mother does, lol!) and she does have an amazing voice. Ooh, and you saw Moby too? Lucky!

@Aly: I didn’t take those photos. You actually can’t. Not only because there’s a LOT of people jumping around you, but because it’s forbidden by organizer if it’s a camera +3.2 megapixels.
The photos you see are taken by a professional photographer who had right to take photos all the time.

Wow, that’s so cool that you got to see her live! And The Kooks, too! I love them, haha.
I’ve heard from quite a few people that Duffy is good live :P Not many singers are like that, haha.
