About a month ago I had an urge to listen to a different music style than usual. I stepped upon a website I found a long time ago – Ambient Nights, and checked listed artists out. That slowly lead me to a world of which existence I have never known before.

So far, I can recommend you a number of musicians. I included the best examples of their work in my opinion within links below, so go ahead and listen if you like.

Ambient music soothed my soul and let me relax from everyday stress. I feel better not only inside, but also outside – and that concerns my physical body. I suggest every busy spirit listening to this amazing music genre as it contributes to a peace of mind.

I had a great chance to see my favorite singer live in Poland. When I first found this news in March I promptly ordered a ticket. I was impatiently awaiting the day, but it was so worth it.

Duffy has an awesome voice. She proves in every way that it’s not a magic of a studio you can hear in her songs. The way she sings her well-known tracks keeps adding a new breath to them. It’s amazing what she can do vocally. I dare to say she’s even better live than on CD!

Except for Duffy, I was able to watch such bands as The Gossip, The Kooks and Moby. I must admit I spent money reasonably. I missed having such a great fun for a long time!

One dream – among all of these – has already been achieved. I’m officialy a student of the second year at the University! I’m glad to have passed all the exams on time. It means an additional month of holiday for me. If only I could get a job and make use of it. I really need to earn money and pass my three-week training I have to undergo next year.

There’s a problem I’ve been struggling with since I put this theme online. I can’t get the navigation padding right in Internet Explorer 7.0. I keep getting this weird space between li elements – which is not a problem in Firefox as it’s showed outside (in the picture), but makes a disaster in IE where it’s showed inside. Do any of you know how I can get rid of it?

As I am a huge fan of volleyball, I watch World League every year. It officially started on Friday, 12th, and is gonna last for one more month. It’s an exciting time of a year I enjoy as it brings a lot of thrilling and stressful emotions. It couldn’t be different this time: masters of world got to play with vice-champions the very first match: Brazil and Poland.

As most of you know, Brazil is invincible at sports. It includes volleyball. They have been masters for quite a long time now – I think it’s nearly ten years. This time, the game was quite a mystery before the actual play. Both teams had new players and Poland – also a new coach. Once the match had started, the truth was revealed to everyone. Brazil is a great team even without its best players. On the other side, Poland was no worse. New fellows did a great job.

During the game, an unpleasant event took place. One of polish players was suddenly knocked out of the field by twisting his ankle when falling down from the block. That’s sad when it happens to be a good player. Hopefully our team will get along without him.

I watch those people around me and I stop for a while in my thoughts. We envy others for things we will never achieve. Is it the right thing to do? I think the question is: why do we even do it? We are who we are for some reason, yet we don’t want to accept it as a truth.

I personally believe we are given a lesson to learn in life. It’s our choice if we decide to take it serious or simply ignore it. Some people miss it, busy with rush. I still don’t really know what’s mine, but I know deep inside I’m close to finding an answer.

It’s a nice and polite comment and there’s nothing wrong about it. But if you take a closer look, you will notice that it’s simply spam as the website provided from the author (hidden for obvious reasons) treats about crap topic – or just doesn’t make sense at all.

There was also few other comments, shorter from the one above. I think it’s a new way of earning money. You receive links to leave comments on – you get money. Or you have to leave some specific amount of comments within some time and it just happened to be my site by an accident. Either way, it annoys the hell out of me.

One good thing, though – all those comments were primary classified as spam. :)

I don’t want to go into details about how my day was, because it’s not simple to explain it all. In general, it was a good day – the first Wednesday I enjoyed in nearly four months, except the fact I twisted my ankle again, uh.

I’m not capable of thinking right at this moment in spite of drinking a double coffee. I only hope it doesn’t start working at night.

This website is no longer thought as relatively safe due to my inattention in putting surname down in a footer. I don’t want specific people to read about my private life, so from now on such posts will be password protected. I consider a registration form, do you suggest any? I’m not familiar with that stuff and I would like to make it possible for you to still read my notes.

I’m quite satisfied with my new theme. I’ve always gone for the minimalistic style, because there’s something about it. Perhaps it reflects me in some other way. Anyways, I appreciate space and simplicity. I think I still may adjust a couple of things.

In other news, finals are coming this week. I think there’s 15 of them and I’ve already passed 4. It’s going to be a tough time, at least until the end of June.

Me and my girl friends went to the beach. Since I attend the university that’s like half a mile away from sands, students go there quite often. It was a very warm morning and the class wasn’t an important one, so I thought it would be nice to waste an hour and a half on doing crap. We ate ice-cream and walked around. There was a couple of swans which I gave some bread to. I wish I had had the camera. Later that day my parents invited me to some restaurant for a dinner. It was quite a good day. I love sun and the warm breeze touching my face a lot.

Now when it’s May things are going to get on the roll. Midterms are coming and it scares me. I hope I’ll do fine, let’s just pray. Am I worrying too much? I think I am. I can’t even write a proper blog note. Or maybe there’s no rules and I’m just rambling way too much? I need some rest.
